This December, Josh presented our work on scalable emulated testbeds to capture Internet routing behaviours at the IEEE International Conference on Advanced Networks and Telecommunications Systems (IEEE ANTS) in Delhi, India. Our work, which centres around using the captured Internet topology to build scalable emulations, will soon be available in the conference proceedings.

The remainder of the programme featured a vast number of contributions on a variety of different aspects of advanced networks and telecommunications systems. In particular, there was a fantastic tutorial session on deploying an OpenAirInterface OpenRAN network in Google’s Cloud Platform, as well as a series of strong keynotes from speakers such as Prof Marco Di Renzo, who also leads integrated sensing research funded by the CHEDDAR Hub. The ANTS organizers also arranged a strong cultural programme, highlighting India’s amazing contributions to global music and dance culture.

With other researchers at the conference, we also explored potential areas for collaboration in alignment with our lab’s research focuses and ongoing projects, which we hope to explore further in the coming months.
